CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announced that detectives conducted a joint investigation with the Michigan Department of Correction on Wednesday.

The report states detectives responded to a residence in the 66000 block of Union Road in Porter Township.

While searching the home, authorities say they found methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and evidence of methamphetamine distribution.

A 46-year-old woman was subsequently arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

The suspect's name is withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court.

Detectives say the investigation is ongoing.
