FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Saturday, December 14th, 2019
Mist, freezing drizzle and flurries end tonight, giving way to mostly cloudy and cold conditions on Sunday. The winter storm taking aim at parts of the country's midsection is likely going to miss Michiana to the south. We will see some light snow Sunday night and again Monday evening/night, but accumulation is looking very low as new data come in.
We're talking somewhere on the order of 1-2", mainly south of U.S. 30. Any shift in the storm track would change this, but that's what we're thinking as of Saturday evening. Otherwise, it's very quiet and the weather is benign Tuesday thru Christmas Eve. Temperatures will drop Tuesday and Wednesday before rising into the upper 30s and lower 30s each day beginning next Thursday.
Tonight: Mainly cloudy. Freezing drizzle/mist/flurries early. Low of 24.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy. High of 30.
Monday: Cloudy with light snow showers possible. High of 34.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy during the morning with clearing by afternoon. High of 31.
