VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to area of C.R. 390 near 37 1/2 Street in Bloomingdale Township for a single-vehicle crash around 11:54 p.m. Monday.

The caller told authorities the vehicle had crashed into the woods near their house. They also advised that it had rolled over and that an infant was involved.

Upon arrival, deputies located the driver and the infant. Following an investigation, they discovered the driver had been under the influence of alcohol.

The driver, a 25-year-old woman from the Bloomingdale area, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated and Child Endangerment.

No serious injuries were discovered when she and the infant were evaluated by EMS.
