SAINT JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. --Today is the day where 36 professional basketball hopefuls achieve their dreams for tonight’s WNBA Draft.
Caitlin Clark, the anticipated No.1 pick for the Indiana Fever, is already boosting ticket sales and fans.
Tickets for the Fever’s home opener are ranging from $400-$500.
36 of the Fever’s 40 games will be on broadcasted on national television.
This comes as viewership in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship game beat the Men’s Championship Game by four million viewers.
All eyes are on tonight’s draft class, as many are calling them a game changer for women’s sports, with hopes to elevate the league and inspire the next generation of female athletes.
Tonight’s WNBA Draft will take place at 7:30 PM.
