With the exception of a few flurries this morning, all will be quiet across Michiana as temperatures slowly muster their way upward through the 20s. The more tumultuous weather kicks in early this afternoon as a large system brings widespread snow to most of Michiana with a snow/freezing rain mix in southern Kosciusko and Fulton counties. Expect hazardous driving conditions during the evening commute from 5 PM - 9 PM tonight with 4" to 6" possible in northwest Michiana. System snow wraps up late tonight, likely followed by some lake effect snow showers tomorrow morning that will keep some roads slick. Thursday afternoon is uneventful but getting colder with low temperatures dropping into the single digits overnight. Another system of low pressure arrives late Friday night, bringing a potential winter mix to our area Saturday. Timing and impacts for this weekend's wintry weather are still being worked out but confidence is growing in arrival time.
Today: PM snow. High 28.
Tonight: Heavy snow. Low 22.
Thursday: AM snow showers. High 26.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 28.
