BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – The Whirlpool Corporation has donated hundreds of new appliances to the United Way of Midland, Michigan. These were then sold at a deep discount to help those affected by the historic flooding back in May.
More than 400 washers, dryers, and refrigerators were donated to the United Way, with all proceeds going to the charity.
Dozens of volunteers helped to load up the appliances and made sure everyone involved was socially distancing.
The Whirlpool Corporation is an American multinational manufacturer based out of Benton Harbor.
