SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend’s West Side is hope to one of the largest Memorial Day Parades in the region, 3 American Legions, and the City’s last standing VFW post, 9820.
ABC57 spoke with members American Legion Post 284 and VFW post 9820 ahead of the holiday, as they prepared for a number of ceremonies, events, and the parade ahead.
They are looking for the next generation of members, to keep up the work they do for Veterans in our community.
For more information, they say just come in and talk to them about joining their family.
