Not so lucky today with cold temps and a few snowflakes
It’s the last day of September, and we’ll end the month with a cold front bringing rain chances and gusty winds. Temperatures won’t warm much with cloud cover today. The high is in the low 60s this afternoon. Wind continues to pick up during the afternoon hours. Some wind gusts could be higher than 30 mph. Overnight it’s still breezy and partly cloudy. Any showers this afternoon and evening are isolated. Most showers wrap up before midnight.
Thursday (the first day of October) starts dry with temperatures in the mid 40s. By afternoon we’ll see scattered rain showers. The high Thursday is 58 degrees. Friday is even cooler to end the work week—just 54 degrees for the daytime high. There could be a few showers Friday, but overall it is looking mostly dry. Heading into Saturday morning, temperatures will be in the upper 30s which means frost is possible. It’s a good idea to bring plants indoors or cover them Friday evening. Saturday is mostly dry, then rain returns on Sunday.
Today: Partly cloudy and breezy. Afternoon showers. High 64.
Tonight: Partly cloudy with showers early. Low 46.
Thursday: Scattered afternoon and evening showers. High 58.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 54.
