Water main break closes section of Fourth Street in Mishawaka Monday

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- An emergency water main repair has E. Fourth Street in Mishawaka currently closed just west of Merrifield Avenue, city officials announced Monday morning.

"Motorists are asked to use E. Third Street as a detour," city officials said. "Weather permitting, this closure is expected to be in place until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28."

Barricades and signs will be in place during the closure and any questions regarding the work should be directed to the Mishawaka Utilities Water Division at (574)258-1652.
