From just above average today to the 80s later this week
Temperatures start in the 40's this morning before soaring into the mid to upper 60's this afternoon. Winds will become breezy this afternoon with gusts up to 30 mph. A few clouds roll in this evening with partly cloudy skies overnight lasting into tomorrow. Our Monday starts with temperatures in the 50's, we'll be jumping into the lower 70's during the afternoon, not far off from the record. Expect breezy winds again tomorrow with gusts exceeding 30 mph at times. Rain and possibly thunderstorms arrive Monday night as a strong low-pressure system and associated cold front sweep across the Midwest. Storms should stay sub-severe. Rain wraps up Tuesday morning, temperatures will be cooler but still well above average in the upper 50's during the afternoon. We'll stay dry Wednesday and Thursday before rain showers return for the end of the work week leading us into next weekend.
