Wanted homicide suspect arrested in Ontwa Township

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – According to police, a suspect was arrested on Tuesday after officers received a tip.

Police say the anonymous tip revealed that the suspect was located in Edwardsburg Village.

Officers watched the residence for two hours until the suspect was spotted walking into a Marathon gas station near the residence.

An Ontwa Township officer approached the suspect as he was leaving the gas station and arrested him without incident.

The suspect was transported to the Cass County Jail and is being held on warrant.

According to police, the suspect will be extradited to Indiana upon completion of proper paperwork.

The identity of the suspect will be withheld until arraignment is no longer pending.
