Flooding remains a threat into Wednesday
BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Starting April 4, Walmart will limit the number of customers that can be inside the store at one time to promote social distancing. Stores will allow no more than five customers for each 1,000 square feet, roughly 20 percent of capacity.
In most cases the only entrance open will be the Grocery side and there will be a queue at a single-entry door.
Customers will be admitted one-by-one and once the store is “full” they will need to wait until someone leaves.
Many Walmart stores will be implementing one-way movement through the aisles as well, to help prevent people from walking close to each other.
After checking out, customers will be directed to an exit different from where they entered.
More information can be found on the company's website.
