Volunteers mobilizing for emergency food response in Elkhart County Monday

ABC 57 ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- In the wake of power outages across Elkhart County and urgent requests for food assistance, the Hunger Ends Here Collaborative is mobilizing volunteers Monday for an emergency food response.
Volunteers are planned to gather at GymTown Food Bank at 56802 Elk Court in Elkhart at 2 p.m. to pack food boxes for delivery.
Around 3 p.m., teams will start delivering the boxes to locations throughout the county, like apartment complexes and other areas affected by the outages.
