Supporters hold ’Trump Win of the Day’ rally in Niles
SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- A candlelight vigil was held on Friday for the victims of Friday night's deadly double shooting. The victims of that shooting were 21-year-old Malik Balderos and 20-year-old Ricky Kinds Jr.
"Just to lose a life in our neighborhoods is one too many," said Eileen Sullivan, lives nearby and organized the vigil. "I just think it was the right thing to do to pay attention to it."
Community members and government officials gathered near the scene to pay respects, pray, and call for and end to the violence in South Bend.
"If you see something, hear something, know something's wrong, call the cops," said Sullivan. "Keep your neighborhood safe."
At this time South Bend Police have not released any suspect information and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
