BIG BEAR, Calif.—Cell phone video captured the moment a tree split in half after it was struck by lightning inside of the San Bernardino National Forest.
ABC News obtained the video, which shows the tree becoming engulfed in flames before eventually splitting in half and crashing to the ground.
The lightning strike happened Saturday night near Big Bear Lake.
