Two people arrested in Cass County Drug Enforcement Team investigation

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Two people were arrested for drug charges on Tuesday following a search warrant by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team.

Detectives searched a residence in the 26000 block of Gage Street in Wayne Township on Tuesday on suspicion that individuals were selling and using illegal drugs there, reports said.

Detectives detained three individuals during the search warrant.

During the search, detectives found methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and evidence of methamphetamine sales, according to reports.  

A 50-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

A 63-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

This is an ongoing investigation.
