Two men injured after crashing from fleeing from a traffic stop

FULTON COUNTY, Ind. - A Fulton County Sheriff's Office deputy initiated a traffic stop to a driver near 1125 W. and 800 N., prompting the vehicle to flee at a high speed and crash at a turn, according to Fulton County Sheriff's Office.

The white Chevrolet Silverado caught fire after its crash, when two males fled into the woods and one female was detained.

The deputy deployed his K-9, Agi, and gave verbal cues.

Upon hearing the verbal cues, the two males who fled, surrendered.

One male was flown to South Bend Memorial Hospital and the other was transported to Northwest Health-Starke Hospital for treatment.

The extent of their injuries and condition are unknown at this time.

The female involved was released from the scene.

This incident remains under investigation as a report will be sent to Fulton and Starke Counties Prosecutor's offices for a review of a potential charge.
