SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that occurred Tuesday morning at 6:15 a.m. and 6:45 a.m.
The first shooting happened in the 2100 block of S. Warren Street. The man who was injured was taken to the hospital and is stable.
The second shooting happened in the 1600 block of S Jackson St. The man who was shot at this location is in critical condition.
The Violent Crimes Unit determined the shootings are connected.
They said there is no further threat to the community.
