Two injured in multi-vehicle Cass county crash
CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Deputies were deployed Friday at 11:44 p.m. in response to a two-vehicle crash on M-60 southwest of Dailey Road, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Department.
Upon arriving on the scene, officials determined that a Jeep Compass, driven by a 28-year-old Granger resident, allegedly crossed the centerline and crashed into a Subaru Legacy, which was being driven by a 60-year-old woman from Niles, Michigan.
A 30-year-old passenger in the Jeep Compass was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for his injuries and the driver of the Subaru Legacy was taken to Lakeland Niles Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
Alcohol is a suspected factor in the crash, according to the sheriff's department.
Officials say that all parties involved in the collision were wearing seatbelts.
