ELKHART, Ind. -- Authorities have released the names of the two people who were shot on West Garfield Avenue Wednesday night.
The victims are Andrew Rodger, 25, and Kory Williams, 39, both of Elkhart.
According to officials, officers arrived on scene and found Rodger with a gunshot injury. He was treated at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
While investigating officers were informed of a second victim at Elkhart General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. That turned out to be Williams.
Officers believe this was a targeted incident unrelated to any other recent shootings.
