CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Two people were arrested in Cass County on Tuesday after authorities found methamphetamine while serving a warrant, according to the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team.

"A search warrant was conducted in the 11000 block of M-60, in Newberg Township, Cass County," authorities said. "While searching the residence, detectives located methamphetamine, and methamphetamine paraphernalia."

Police arrested a 41-year-old female for outstanding warrants, and a 58-year-old male for outstanding warrants.

"Detectives are requesting charges on subjects for the methamphetamine," authorities said. "The suspects’ names are being withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court. The investigation is still ongoing."
