Trump announces "successful" strikes on 3 Iranian nuclear sites

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The President uploaded a post on Truth Social Saturday evening saying the US carried out " very successful" strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites.

According to AP, the President said that B-2 Stealth Bombers were used but did not specify which kind of bombs were dropped.

The White House and Pentagon did not elaborate following the strikes. 

Iran had pledged retaliation if the US join the Israeli assault against its country.

The President is set to address the nation at 10:00 p.m.
