UPDATE: Court documents reveal that on July 23 Allan Charles Davey III was sentenced to 365 days in St. Joseph County Jail for OWI with 245 days suspended.
ORIGINAL STORY: ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A truck, driven by 44-year-old Allan Davey, of South Bend, crashed into a home at the intersection of Cedar Street and McKinley Highway around 6:20 p.m. Friday, according to the St. Joseph County Police Department.
There were people inside the home in the 11900 block of McKinley, but none were injured.
Photos of the scene show tire marks from Davey's Dodge Ram truck through the yard of the home and the vehicle fully lodged inside the home itself.
Davey was taken in for medical treatment due to minor injuries and has been arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated.
The department reminds the public that all people are presumed innocent until/unless convicted.
