ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, July 7, 2024
The rest of the evening will be warm and humid with partly cloudy skies. An isolated shower or storm is possible near Lake Michigan this evening, but coverage will stay very minimal. Monday will be another warm and humid day with highs in the mid 80s under partly cloudy skies. A better chance for a scattered storm or two in the late afternoon to early evening hours of Monday, but no severe weather is expected. The weather certainly gets more interesting on Tuesday into Thursday morning as remnants from Beryl head toward Michiana. Rain could arrive as early as Tuesday afternoon and continue through late Wednesday night. Model guidance is hinting at the possibility of heavy rainfall of 2-4" midweek, with some isolated amounts more than that possible. The exact track of Beryl is still uncertain, but it is definitely the main weather focus this week as river rises and areal flooding is possible.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 68.
Monday: Partly cloudy, PM scattered storm. High 86.
Tuesday: Scattered storms turning to widespread rain late. High 82.
Wednesday: Heavy rain and breezy. High 76.
