VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- South Haven Area Emergency Services reports crews responded to a trailer fire around 4:08 a.m., Thursday, at 21980 M-140.

Crews from Covert Township and Bangor Community Fire Department also responded.

Firefighters arrived to find all four occupants had already escaped the home, while the structure was found to be engulfed in flames.

Fire crews were able to limit damage to a nearby unoccupied trailer.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but fire officials say intense fire damage was found near a floor electric heater.

No injuries have been reported.
