Traffic stop leads to drug arrest in Argos

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – One person was arrested Wednesday after police found methamphetamine in a vehicle they were driving, the Marshall County Police Department reported.

At 11:51 p.m., a Marshall County officer initiated a traffic stop on a silver Pontiac in the area of U.S. 31 and S.R. 10.

During the investigation, the officer found about 64 grams of methamphetamine, reports said.

The driver of the vehicle, 24-year-old Christopher Williamson of Star City, was taken to the Marshall County Jail and faces charges of dealing in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
