SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Starting on Saturday, a section of the southbound lanes of Ironwood Drive between State Road 23 and Edison Road will be closed for water service line work, city officials said.
Northbound traffic on Ironwood Drive will not be affected, but southbound drivers will be detoured southwest on State Road 23, then east on Edison Road back to Ironwood Drive.
The street is expected to reopen Tuesday, Dec. 31, weather permitting.
