Tolson Center kicks off soccer season

ELKHART, Ind. -- The grand opening for Tolson soccer's brand-new field took place on Saturday. 

Construction on the new field began back in 2022 and was completed in 2025. 

Anyone in the community was able to use the new field, basketball court, and ADA accessible playground. 

Velishea Smiley, Assistant Director, stated, "Our goal is to have a great place for our soccer organizations to come and play and practice and just have our community be able to come out and enjoy the different things that are available, including our basketball courts and our ADA accessible playground."
