ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. --The Tolson Center is hosting its first ever Juneteenth celebration. The event will honor African American history and culture with performances, educational activities and family-friendly festivities.
It's happening today at 11 a.m. lasting until 2 p.m.
ABC57's Giselle Valentin spoke with Tolson Center's Executive Director Breanna Allen about the significance of Juneteenth and the details of today's celebration.
