ELKHART, Ind. -- The Tolson Center for Community Excellence is set to host the Spelling Bee Explosion powered by Gentlemen & Scholars, Ind. in order to bring together elementary students from across Elkhart for a day celebrating literacy, confidence, and community pride.

The Spelling Bee Explosion is set to take place on Sunday, March 1st at 3:00 p.m. and will be free and open to the public.

The event will be hosted by Dr. Breanna Allen, Executive Director of the Tolson Center, and will feature special guest judge, Robert Taylor.

“Spelling is more than memorization, it's about confidence, preparation, and believing you belong on the stage,” said Dr. Allen.

“This event reflects our commitment to creating spaces where young people are celebrated for their brilliance and encouraged to lead with courage,” says the leaders of Gentleman & Scholars.

The Spelling Bee Explosion is presented in partnership with Elkhart Schools and Gentlemen & Scholars, Inc., an organization dedicated to empowering youth and equipping them with the skills necessary to become better versions of themselves.
