SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Three local students from Goshen and Concord are returning as national powerlifting champions, thanks in part to training and strength building with Griffin Sports and Performance.
On Thursday, ABC57's Summer Horan sat down with Scott Pherson, the head coach of Griffin Sports and Performance LLC and performance director of St. Joseph High School in South Bend, Phoenix Pherson, a three-time USA Powerlifting Nationals champion, and five other local athletes to talk about the story behind Griffin Sports and Performance and how it helps young female athletes.
If you would like to learn more about Griffin Sports and Performance, you can look on Scott Pherson's official Instagram page at @coachpherson.
