Three injured in crash in Elkhart County

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- At 8:20 a.m. on August 4, a crash occurred on County Road 4 east of State Road 13 that involved a vehicle and a horse and buggy.
A 2018 Hyundai Accent was traveling westbound on County Road 4 when it approached two horses and buggies.
The driver entered the eastbound lane to pass both horses and buggies when the second horse and buggy turned southbound in front of the vehicle, attempting to turn into an address.
It swerved into the westbound lane when it rear-ended the buggy.
Three people in the buggy were injured with abrasions and they were transported by EMS to Elkhart General Hospital for their injuries.
