Delphi Murders Trial: The day after the verdict
ELKHART, Ind. -- The Tolson Center in Elkhart is set to reopen its doors to the public for the first time this afternoon!
The renovations have been 3 years in the making. You can tour the new 30,000 square foot building today from 3-7P.M.
A ceremonial ribbon cutting kicks things off at 3P.M, followed by self-guided tours and light refreshments from 3:15-5P.M.
A short program is scheduled at 5, offering an opportunity to learn more about the center’s programming, talk to staff and explore the building some more.
While the center was previously geared mainly towards the Elkhart youth, this new building will have programs and spaces for all ages to enjoy.
It features 2 brand new gyms, multi-purpose rooms, a dance studio, a small library and even a space where kids can go while their parents enjoy the center’s programs or amenities.
A new kitchen was installed, as well as concession areas both inside and outside.
There are also plans to add basketball courts, a soccer field and more to the center’s outdoor area.
The center plans to soft launch its programming starting the week of December 11th for members.
Membership is free and gives you access to all of this and more.
Head to The Tolson Center’s website for more details.
