SOUTH BEND, Ind.  -- The Shirt Project, a 36-year-long campus tradition and fundraiser, put on for and by Notre Dame students, unveiled The Shirt 2025 Fri. afternoon on the library lawn at the University of Notre Dame.

The Shirt Project president, Emma Brainard, explained The Shirt 2025 is a nod to Notre Dame history, littered with hidden Easter eggs.

“On the front you’ll see we have ‘The Play’ which is from a Miami game when we were in route to a national championship and we open up our season this year playing against Miami so, we want to incorporate that play and, along with that kind of gothic font that you’ll see around some of historic Notre Dame architecture,” said Brainard.

The back of the shirt reads ‘Sing Her Glory’, which Brainard said is due to Irish Head Coach Marcus Freeman.

“All throughout this season, Marcus Freeman… called the team ‘Team Glory’. He always said they were ‘Team Glory’, and it truly was a glorious team, and we felt like, along with this gold… that glory was truly, truly how we felt that this shirt was one we wanted to be remembered in this season that we just had,” said Brainard.

Proceeds from The Shirt 2025 will go directly to The Shirt Charity Fund, which assists students with unexpected medical expenses, as well as student clubs and organizations, and the Office of Student Enrichment.
