With a warm front passing over us late last night, Michiana is in store for an unseasonably warm day ahead with highs expected in the low 80s and mostly sunny skies for the area. Even our low temperatures tonight will finish up a few degrees above average, although still plan on bringing a jacket for Friday Night Football or any other evening plans. Tomorrow stays dry for the majority of the day, including the ND vs. Stanford game, with temperatures topping out around 70F. A cold front pushes through in the early Saturday, bringing widespread shower chances Saturday night that will persist throughout Sunday. A thunderstorm or two is possible along this initial line tomorrow night, but expect mainly showers with a few bouts of heavier rain. As the system moves east out of our area, a band of lake effect rain sets up Sunday to kick off next week as highs cool down to the mid 50s by Monday. Next week is trending in a wetter and overall cooler direction, feeling a bit more like Fall in Michiana.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 82.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 50.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 70.
Sunday: Scattered showers. High 66.
