SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Today marks the soft launch of South Bend's newest restaurant, the Bucket Shack, located at the former Oaken Bucket location.
The restaurant, Steve and Amy Stidham's passion project, features a revitalized restaurant concept with a menu of diverse burgers, steaks, sandwiches, crispy chicken, fish, shrimp, and unique salads.
The building offers multi-level dining, a 21+ bar area, plenty of space for pool tables and arcade-style games, and an extensive patio with a beautiful view of the river.
Steve and Amy's goal for the Bucket Shack is not just to serve food, but to also create a welcoming space where the South Bend community can have a memorable dining experience.
"We hope and pray that everybody has a great time." Steve tells reporters. "Cold drinks, relaxing and fun. It's a fun atmosphere."
The Bucket Shack will officially open doors on Oct 30.
