Teenager arrested in Michigan City stabbing investigation
ABC 57 MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- A teenager faces multiple felony charges after a weekend stabbing in Michigan City.
This happened July 18 at approximately 5:44 p.m. Officers were called to a residence in the 900 block of Ohio Street. The found a 19-year-old man who was apparently stabbed in the back. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 13-year-old boy was found in the residence and detained. Officials say the preliminary investigation shows the teenager allegedly stabbed the victim after an argument. Investigators say a search warrant executed at the residence turned up multiple pieces of evidence.
The suspect faces three charges, including Aggravated Battery, Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, and Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
