Tailgate Traditions: Notre Dame vs. Cal

 

ABC57 Kickoff's Julianne Grohowski stopped by the tailgating fields to see how Irish fans are prepping for Saturday's game against Cal. One fan in particular, former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o, will attend Saturday mass with the players.

Following mass, the Irish conduct their Victory March, leaving the Basilica through the God, Country, Notre Dame door. Players will pass by Washington Hall, the LaFortune Student Center, the Nieuwland Science Hall, and the Hesburgh Library on their way to the stadium. 

During the march, fans are encouraged to line the route and cheer on the team.
