T-Mobile hosts check presentation in Argos for grant

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- T-Mobile hosted a check presentation today at the Gallery On West Event Center in Argos.

They presented Argos with a $50,000 grant as they were a recipient of one of their Hometown Grants.

The grant will be used for the "4-H Poss-ABILITIES Program" to foster inclusive youth livestock and foster building experiences in Marshall County. In addition, it will also pair special needs students with 4-H youth mentors and aims to give opportunities for livestock care and exhibit development in the county.

“The County Commissioners support and applaud the efforts of the 4H Council and Fair Board in their efforts to provide these expanded opportunities for those with special needs in our community and wish them all the best moving forward,” said Mike Burroughs, Marshall County Commissioner.

The project was submitted by the Marshall 4-H County Council.

“This award from T-Mobile will open new opportunities for those who have been unable to participate in the past. We thank all involved for seeing the good in what is being done and working to make it better," added Burroughs.
