Five semitrucks overturned by wind on I-65 Wednesday afternoon
With our high temperatures expected to land in the upper 70s, today will likely be the warmest day of at least the next 5-6. Sunshine is rampant through the rest of this week, but a cold front late tonight will move lows back to the upper 40s and bring a slight chance for a morning sprinkle or two on Friday. Highs stay above average, though, and hover around the mid 70s heading into the weekend with either mostly sunny or completely sunny weather expected through Sunday. A secondary cold front late Sunday night will cool overall temperatures heading into next week, making our area feel a bit more like Fall for the first full week of October.
Today: Sunny. High 78.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 48.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 74.
Saturday: Sunny. High 76.
