Enjoy a sunny day Sunday. Temperatures today are slightly warmer than yesterday. Temperatures before 9 a.m. are in the mid to upper 40s. By lunch time, we climb to the 60s. Our daytime high is around 70 degrees this afternoon. Later this evening, wildfire smoke returns to the air above Michiana. You’ll notice another hazy but sunny day Monday. We’ll stay mostly dry and sunny this week. Temperatures through the work week gradually warm, with a daytime high in the mid 70s Monday. Tuesday is the Autumnal Equinox (the astronomical start of the fall season), but it will feel like summer with temperatures in the upper 70s. Wednesday is the warmest with a high around 80 degrees. A weak cold front passes through Michiana Thursday—bringing a slight chance for a few showers. Friday and the weekend look dry with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.
