Notre Dame’s independence has everyone talking
Besides some patchy fog this morning, the forecast remains clear and sunny for today and the rest of the week. The overall strength and placement of the ridge isn't as conducive toward near 90 degree highs as thought earlier this week, but you can still expect temperatures in the mid to upper 80s through Friday. A system of low pressure slowly lumbers into Michiana this weekend, bringing low chances for isolated showers and storms Saturday and Sunday. While the majority of Notre Dame game day will be uneventful, a few well-placed showers could cause a soggy interruption to tailgates or the game itself. More significant rainfall is expected Sunday evening through Monday morning as a cold front passes us, dropping highs from the low 80s this weekend to the mid 70s next week.
Today: Sunny. High 84.
Tonight: Clear. Low 57.
Thursday: Sunny. High 87.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 86.
