Summer's Spotlight: RiverBend Cancer Services hosts local art auction fundraiser Thursday night

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- RiverBend Cancer Services is hosting an auction titled "Art Around the Bend" Thursday night. The auction will support and feature local artists while acting as a fundraiser to support services for those battling cancer.

On Wednesday, ABC57's Summer Horan sat down with RiverBend Cancer Services' Trish Ross and Mary Welsheimer to discuss the event and the good RiverBend has been doing since 1943.

Art Around the Bend will be held at RiverBend Wellness House at 3516 E. Jefferson Street in South Bend on Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are available for $20. To attend or donate to other support therapies, you can look on the RiverBend Cancer Services website.
