SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The world's most popular musical, Les Miserables, takes to the Morris Performing Arts Stage.
The beloved story, seen by over 130 million people worldwide, speaks to the trials and survival of the human spirit through Tony Award-winning music.
Morning Anchor Summer Horan spoke with Nick Cartell, the Broadway actor portraying the show's protagonist: Prisoner 2-4-6-0-1, Jean Valjean. Cartell's resume includes other timeless classics like The Phantom of the Opera and Jesus Christ Superstar, with the National Les Miserables Tour adding to that list.
There are five performances left at the Morris, with one Friday at 7:30 p.m., two Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and two Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m.
