Sturgis Police investigating multiple cases of damaged property on Arden Park Street

STURGIS, Mich.—The police and fire departments in Sturgis are investigating multiple cases of “malicious destruction of property” that occurred on Arden Park Street in October.

On October 9, police were called to a garage fire in the 300 block of Arden Park Street around 5:15 p.m.

Police found a small fire in the detached garage and several other areas of damage to the building.

The incident is being investigated as suspected arson.

On October 10, officers were sent to another incident of “malicious destruction of property” on the same block of Arden Park Street. An outbuilding was found to have been damaged overnight.
