Preschool suspension rates are up across the nation, according to a Civil Rights Data Collection Survey.
The study also shows that black students are 3.6 times more likely to get 1 or more out-of-school suspensions as white preschool students.
Out of all the students enrolled in pre-school, 20 percent are black girls and more than half have been suspended.
