SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club is preparing for several summer events coming up, including the Studebaker Car Show on Friday and the 43rd Annual Car Show and Swap Meet in June.
On Wednesday, a group of drivers and their Studebakers visited the ABC57 parking lot, and ABC57's Summer Horan spoke with John Monhaut, the president of the Studebaker Drivers Club, and Tom Whitaker, one of the club's members, about the upcoming events and what makes a Studebaker so special.
The Studebaker Drivers Club will be hosting the Studebaker Car Show from 7 to 9 p.m. at Ironworks Plaza on Friday. Following that, the club will host the 43rd Annual Car Show and Swap Meet on Friday, June 5, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, June 6, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If you would like to see more details about these events and the club in general, you can look on the South Bend chapter's website.
