Starke County Sheriff RIVERDALE, Ill. -- A Starke County man is in custody in Illinois for failing to register as a sex offender.
Officials say Brandyn Garbison was wanted with an outstanding warrant for the alleged crime. He was reportedly found at a gas station in Riverdale, Illinois. He remains in custody there, pending an extradition hearing.
He is expected to be returned to Starke County to face the outstanding warrant.
Starke County Sheriff Jack Rosa said his department was assisted by the U.S. Marshals Task Force.
