SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Members of the community packed into the County City Building in South Bend this afternoon. Residents from all over the county voiced their concerns about their sky rocketing property taxes even if they have not made improvements to their homes.
St. Joseph County Assessor Michael Castellon is holding a series of town halls to speak with residents and saying in the town hall today that these issues aren't just happening in Indiana but all over the country.
This was the 2nd town hall and two more will be held in September and December.
