SPA Women's Ministry is expanding

ELKHART, Ind – The SPA Women’s Ministries is expanding their facility.

The Elkhart based addiction treatment center currently houses and helps treat women that are battling addiction.

The group will break ground to expand their facility by 9,000 square feet which the group says will allow them to help 60 women and their families.

SPA Women’s Ministries Curriculum Coordinator Maggie Bair explains the need for the treatment program and its expansion.

“We have moms call we have dads call us there’s a need out there it’s no secret that there’s drug and alcohol addiction problems in society and we’re no stranger to it in Elkhart County,” Bair said.

The residential addiction treatment program is a yearlong program.

“Well it’s a journey and if you’re wanting to change your life and you have an addiction in your life this is the place to come they have amazing people and like I said they will help you with your struggles,” SPA Women’s Ministries treatment program resident Destiny Sage said.

The project is expected to take a year to complete.
